Privacy and LGPD

Updated October 23, 2026.

Your trust matters. This policy explains in plain language how the app handles your data.

1. Data we process

We process data you provide when creating an account, such as your name and email; prayer requests, testimonies, messages and interactions; groups and invitations; notification preferences; data needed for purchases and subscription restoration; and the minimum technical data needed for security and operation of the service.

2. Sensitive content and visibility

Prayer requests may reveal sensitive personal information. They are available only in the private groups you choose. Messages received and the history of who prayed are shown within the authenticated experience. Do not publish someone else’s data without permission.

3. Why we use this data

We use data to create and protect your account, deliver requests to your chosen groups, record prayers and testimonies, send notifications you request, process subscription benefits, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve stability and performance.

4. Optional analytics

Analytics is optional and begins only after you consent in the app. We record general usage events and never send names, email addresses, requests, messages or testimonies to analytics. You can turn this option off at any time in your profile.

5. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your data. We may use providers to operate the service, including Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Expo (mobile infrastructure and notifications), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions and purchases), and PostHog (optional analytics). Each provider receives only what is necessary for its role and may process data outside Brazil under contractual safeguards.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain data while your account is active and for as long as necessary for security, legal compliance and dispute resolution. You can delete your account in your app profile. Deletion removes access and begins removal of associated data, subject to legal obligations and temporary backups. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

7. Your rights

Under Brazil’s LGPD, you may request confirmation and access, correction, portability where applicable, information about sharing, withdrawal of consent, and deletion of data processed with consent. You may also report and hide content directly in the app.

8. Children and teenagers

The service is intended for people aged 13 or older. Minors must use the app with the knowledge and permission of a legal guardian. If we identify an account created contrary to this rule, we may remove it.

9. Security and changes

We use proportionate technical and organizational controls to protect data, but no system is completely immune to incidents. If this policy changes significantly, we will notify you through the service and update the date below.
